Eligibility

**INTER-EUROPE or INTER-ASIA mobilities are NOT ALLOWED.

European candidates to a mobility in SEA area (Brunei, Hong-Kong, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan) :

Must be a national of an EU Member State.

For masters mobility, the student must have obtained a first higher education degree or a recognised equivalent level of learning from an EU Higher Education Institution (HEI) and must be registered as a master student at one of the European partner universities at the time of the mobility.  The student must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting country.

For doctorate mobility, the student must have obtained a second higher education degree or a recognised equivalent level of learning from an EU HEI  and must be registered as a doctoral student at one of the European partner universities at the time of the mobility.

For post-doctorate mobility, the candidate must have obtained their doctorate in the last two years and must have the support from one of the European partner universities at the time of the mobility. This can be for research, training and attending highly specialised courses.

For academic and administrative staff mobility, the candidate must be a permanent member on the payroll of one the partners. He/She must be national of an EU Member State and the mobility assignments must be based on partnership agreements between the members of the partnership. The home and host universities and the individual staff must agree on the programme of lectures to be delivered by the visiting teachers, on the research activities or on the type of training to be followed by staff.

 

Southeast Asian candidates to a mobility in EU

Must be a national of one of the SEA countries/territories covered by the program (Brunei, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan).

For masters mobility, the student must have obtained a first higher education degree or a recognised equivalent level of learning from a SEA country/territory HEI and must be registered as a master student at one of the SEA partner universities at the time of the mobility. The student must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting country.

For doctorate mobility, the student must have obtained a second higher education degree or a recognised equivalent level of learning from a SEA country/territory HEI and must be registered as a doctoral student at one of the SEA partner universities at the time of the mobility.
